Commissioned by Ground Game, I filmed landscape training videos for Ground Game Academy in Poznań. Mateusz Gucman explains martial arts techniques and demonstrates them with a partner on the mat.
From each full video, I created a short vertical Reel inviting viewers to the main content. This is content repurposing: one recording used in different formats and on different platforms.

10 films + 10 ReelsLandscape explanations and vertical trailers
A full film provides space for a clear explanation, demonstration and movement details. A short Reel selects a moment that sparks interest and invites viewers to watch the complete video.
I edited a separate vertical trailer from each landscape video. One filming session therefore provides both training content and short videos for different platforms.

Ground Game Academy is an educational project by Ground Game, a martial arts clothing and equipment brand. It publishes training videos and articles where athletes and coaches share knowledge with people who train.
Mateusz Gucman is a Polish freestyle wrestler, coach and Beijing 2008 Olympian. In the Academy videos, he demonstrates wrestling techniques and explains how to perform them. His experience forms the content of this series. My job was to film the full explanations in landscape format and make vertical trailers for different publishing channels.
Behind the camera, I make sure viewers can see both the whole body’s position and the detail the coach discusses: a grip, foot placement or the direction of movement with a partner. Landscape video shows the complete explanation and technique sequence.
I then select a moment for a Short or Reel, adapting the framing, pace and captions to the vertical format. The Reel invites viewers to the full video where they can learn more about the technique.
That is how content repurposing works in this project: 10 training films, each with one short trailer. The content can be used across different publishing channels instead of recording the same topic from scratch each time.
